In the past six months, the SuMo project team has continued with its reseach. For example, another participatory workshop was conducted by our French project partners of ENSAS and UNISTRA/CNRS. On March 29, 2021 the SuMo-Rhine project conducted an online participatory workshop with the theme “Strasbourg Rhine Metropolis: which sustainable mobility?“. The workshop was organized by the AMUP/IMM research team of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Strasbourg (ENSAS), under the direction of Andreea Grigorovschi, with the participation of the Laboratoire Image Ville Environnement (LIVE) of the University of Strasbourg and the CNRS. The French booklet “Trait d’Union européenne” covers Europe and cross-border cooperation in the region Grand Est in its edition of December 2020. In accordance with the topic, the SuMo-Rhine project was presented as one of four projects. The article is treating the development and current progress of the indicator system which is developed within the SuMo-Rhine project. On the 7th of December 2020, the SuMo-Rhine project team organised another online workshop on municipal perspectives on the initiative of Dr Eckhard Szimba (KIT-ECON), Dr Kira Schumacher and Nora Baumgartner (both, KIT-DFIU). The workshop focused on sustainable urban mobility and mobility concepts. Dr Kira Schumacher welcomed 16 participants from Germany and France. Thanks to the simultaneous translation, the participants were able to follow the workshop in their preferred language. Collaborate and research despite the current circumstances. Keeping this idea in mind, the SuMo-Rhine project team hosted the first interactive online workshop titeld “Municipal perspectives: which indicators do we need for sustainable mobility?” on the 23rd of June. The workshop was conducted in French and aimed especially at French municipalities. The SuMo-Rhine team welcomed 10 participants from both side of the Rhine. The retreat meeting of the SuMo-Rhine project took place from the 18th to the 19thof February 2020. Since it is half-time of the project period, the co-financing partners, DFIU, KIT-ECON, Universität of Freiburg, Universität of Koblenz- Landau, Université de Haute-Alsace, Université de Strasbourg and CNRS met in order to present first project results and to discuss, how to link the different working packages.
The team of the Interreg SuMo-Rhine research project invites you to the 2nd participatory workshop “Municipal perspectives: which indicators do we need for sustainable mobility?”. The workshop will take place as a digital workshop on the 23rd June 2020, from 2 to 5 pm. The workshop’s objective is to exchange experiences and expectations of the participants regarding the evaluation of urban mobility systems. The exchange will take place in an interactive format.
