FELIS is the Chair of Remote Sensing and Landscape Information Systems within the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources of the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg.
Our research focuses on the application of remote sensing and information systems for monitoring, visualization and spatial modelling of forests, landscapes and natural resources.
In order to evaluate municipal mobility systems, the processing and analysis of large geospatial data are essential.
Our main task is to create a data basis for the implementation of the indicator system and to operationalise and evaluate the individual indicators on the basis of actual data.
By using state-of-the-art web-based technologies, we aim to create a high-quality, up-to-date cross-border data basis that will enable the application of the indicator system for municipalities throughout the Upper Rhine region.
