SuMo-Rhine, kick-off event of the Interreg-V-Project Sustainable Mobility in the Upper Rhine Region 12 March 2019, Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe

For the kick-off event of the trinational SuMo-Rhine research project, the participants were welcomed by Gabriela Mühlstädt-Grimm, President of the Karlsruhe Vice Government, Dr. Frank Mentrup, Mayor of Karlsruhe, and Prof. Dr. Thomas Hirth, Vice President for Innovation and International Affairs at KIT. Afterwards the contents of the project were presented by Prof. Dr. Wolf Fichtner. Afterwards, project partners from municipalities, research and companies presented innovative concepts and exemplary initiatives for sustainable mobility in the Upper Rhine region and offered a good basis for discussions and expansion of the various networks.
