Ladies and Gentlemen,
the project coordinator, the German-French Institute for Environmental Research (DFIU) of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and TRION-climate e.V. cordially invite you to the kick-off event of the Interreg V project “SuMo-Sustainable Mobility Rhine”.
This will take place on 12 March in the afternoon at the premises of the Regierungspräsidium Karlsruhe. We are pleased to welcome you beforehand to a lunch buffet/reception coffee.
It is a special honour for us to be able to announce the President of the Government, Nicolette KRESSL, and Prof. Dr. Thomas HIRTH, Vice President of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, for the opening speech.
After an introduction of “SuMo Rhine” by KIT, the participating cities Karlsruhe, Strasbourg, Lörrach and Mulhouse will present innovative concepts for sustainable mobility in the municipalities. In the second thematic block, exemplary initiatives of Energiedienst Holding AG, Energieagentur Rheinland-Pfalz and the bicycle association CADR 67 will be presented.
The conference is aimed at representatives from science, business, politics and administration who deal with the topic of sustainable mobility. Simultaneous translation German-French will be provided. Participation is free, but registration is required by 5 March onwww.trion-climate.net.
