SuMo-Rhine receives new project coordination

Herewith we would like to welcome Mrs. Nora Baumgartner as new project coordinator of the SuMo-Rhine project in our team. At the German-French Institute for Environmental Research (DFIU), which acts as the project management agency, she will be in charge of organising the planned workshops and coordinating the project. ADEUS becomes associate partner of the SuMo-Rhine project

The SuMo-Rhine project welcomes the Agency for Urban Development and Planning of the Strasbourg Metropolitan Area (ADEUS) as a new associated partner. With ADEUS, the project has gained an interdisciplinary institution with expertise in urban development, planning, settlement structure and housing, economic and social development, urban engineering, transport, landscape planning, environment, leisure, tourism, education, culture, communication and cross-border cooperation. We are looking forward to a good cooperation!

Dear Sir or Madam, The research project SuMo-Rhine cordially invites you to the 1st Participative Workshop “Municipal Perspectives” of sustainable mobility in the Upper Rhine region. The event will take place on November 13, 2019 at the Haus zur Lieben Hand in the Löwenstraße 16 in Freiburg. The aim of this practical research project is to analyze regional transport systems and to evaluate them better in terms of their sustainability. In the course of this, a “network-based decision-making tool” with relevant sustainability indicators will be developed.
